2018年12月9日，首届海南岛(dǎo )国(🎙)际电(diàn )影(🏯)节国际影展开幕(mù )式(shì )，在海(hǎi )南省三亚市大东海(hǎi )广(guǎng )场沙滩举行。为推进(jìn )海南电(dià(👿)n )影产业发(🦁)展、实现(xiàn )本(běn )土化与(yǔ )国际化兼顾的格局(jú )，此次国(guó )际影展还特别开设了(le )“海南新力(⚫)量”展映(yì(🕤)ng )单元。该单元公开征集到(dào )海(hǎi )南作者(zhě )、海南制作的影片(piàn )共(gòng )七十余部。选出《藏(cáng )北(🔶)密岭(lǐng )—(🚀)重返无人区》、《追梦的(de )黎族女娃娃》、《九(jiǔ )号重案(àn )》、《焉知非福》、《侬婆》、《无间》、《余(yú )光童(⏳)梦》、《完人(➖)(rén )测(cè )试》、《开着房车环岛游(yóu )》共九部(bù )优秀作品。开幕式中(zhōng )，著名导演谢飞、黎(lí )族女(🍷)演(yǎn )员谭(📈)小燕共同为影(yǐng )片(piàn )代表颁(bān )发了入围证书。

藤(téng )冈(gāng )靛在片中饰演引发奇迹的正(zhèng )体(🥈)不明的主(⛽)人公拉乌(wū )，尽管(guǎn )他的国籍与语言不(bú )明(míng )，但是(shì )温暖的笑容却有种(zhǒng )不(bú )可思议的(🌼)力量，影片(🥏)(piàn )通过超(chāo )越国籍与宗教的年(nián )轻(qīng )人们的(de )友情，自然地反应(yīng )人(rén )们的生(shēng )活。影片全(👶)篇外景在(🕚)(zài )印度尼西亚苏门答腊(là )岛拍摄(shè )，用时一个月。

Brij Mohan (36), a hosiery shop owner in a busy Delhi market, desperately wants to change his life. He is fed up of his ball-crusher wife and mounting debts. In order to escape his wretched life, he changes his appearance and adopts a new identity as Amar Sethi, but ends up committing a botched up murder. He runs off with his young girlfriend, hopeful of making a new beginning. Instead, as luck would have it, he finds himself trapped in a web of his own Karma.

Art dealer Trevor and his best friend Dante, an Italian/American fashion photographer, holiday in Capri where they both fall for Antonia, a local beauty. One of them marries her. Back in London Antonia is last seen in Regent's Park walking her Jack Russell terrier. The remains of a female body are recovered from Regent's Canal, and both her husband and his best friend are suspects in what increasingly appears to be a murder. This fast-moving story travels backwards in time. Exploration of the mystery of Antonia's fate follows twists and turns as hair-raising as the roads on the mountainous isle of Capri. The audience is ushered to the astonishing ending, proving along the way that the deepest mystery of all is that of the soul torn between desire and loyalty.
