Tommy DiNello, a freelance videographer, moves back to North Branford Ct. from New York City after two years on his own. His extremely close cousins, Marie and Dom Jr., are reluctantly accepting their father's new young foreign wife Varya, just two years after their mother's death. Since Tommy's parents moved to Florida when he was away, he has no choice but to stay with his Uncle Dominic and cousin Marie while battling memories of the reason he left town in the first place. His dear friend, Angela and him are reunited, This is bittersweet as she is the only one with clear knowledge and witness of his past.

Taapmaan is a hard-hitting, dark action drama about an independent filmmaker whose only wish is to become the kind of filmmaker he wants to be. He has been struggling since quite long but still has nobody standing by his side. In addition to this, his not-so-successful career gets affected badly when an online critic, with whose opinion he had once disagreed, gets him framed for making a snuff film. When he's not provided justice, he gets shattered from within and proclaims openly to sacrifice his speech unless he gets justice. But in the age of digital media, isn't he just another guy who wants his work to be seen and appreciated? His battle intensifies when time passes by and lack of justice makes him brutal and extremely angry.

Summer 1989, East Germany. Adam works as a tailor, Evelyn as a waitress. They are planning a vacation together when Evelyn finds out that Adam is cheating on her and decides to leave for the holiday on her own. She travels to Hungary, trailed by Adam. As the border with Austria falls, everything changes in Hungary. The frontiers are open, as the new possibilities for Adam and Evelyn to decide in which world – Eastern or Western – they want to build a happy life. Laura Wagner has a promising career as a young auctioneer, but her life looks set to fall apart when she's the victim of a rape. The rapist is a well-known and respected gallery owner, and the assault takes place after a cocktail party. Laura knows it's unlikely she'll be believed if she files a complaint.
